| Airport Security Failures |
Once again the media recognizes AGF for its experience in airline security failures following the Christmas Day terrorist attempt on a U.S. bound flight from Amsterdam. The terrorist was unsuccessful in detonating the explosive, but that was all that kept the aircraft from crashing over a populous U.S. city. Airport security measures did not stop the plot and all of the necessary explosive components from being assembled on the Delta/Northwest plane. AGF partner Keith Franz, lead counsel for the firm's 9/11 litigation against the airlines and security companies responsible for the failures that allowed the 9/11 terrorists to board their flights is interviewed on the similarities between this close call and the 9/11 tragedy and what needs to be done to secure the public in the future. |
